The MOL Liga returned this past weekend, kicking off the 2025/26 season. The most noteworthy result was the upset of the round, where DHK Zora Olomouc defeated ten-time Czech champions DHK Baník Most 28:26.
Elsewhere around the league, HC DAC Dunajska Streda secured a convincing 49:18 win over HC Zlín. The two other Slovak teams also had successful starts, winning both of their opening matches. HK Slovan Duslo Šal’a defeated Sokol Písek 36:25, whilst Iuventa Michalovce obtained a 34:21 victory at TJ Sokol Poruba.
Finally, both Handball Kynzvart and DHC Slavia Praha achieved wins. Kynzvart beat DHC Plzeň away from home 33:27, whilst Slavia Praha defeated HK Hodonín at home 37:25.
