The dates of the new MOL Liga season were confirmed last week in Bratislava. The 2025/26 season will begin on the weekend of the 6th/7th of September, 2025. The structure of the season will remain unchanged, however the Final 4 has been dropped from the calendar.
At the draw it was also confirmed that five teams from the league will be playing in EHF competitions. Dunajská Streda, HK Slovan Duslo Šaľa and Iuventa Michalovce from the Slovak side will be playing in the EHF European Cup alongside Házená Kynzvart. DHK Baník Most will be playing in the preliminary round of the EHF European League.
